To say this week has flown by for us here at Neighborhood Goods is in no way an understatement.
As you can imagine, opening our doors to the public last Saturday was a pretty incredible moment — something we’d all been working towards for quite some time, with a particularly sleep-deprived push for the days just before. You might recall our round-up of the big day, which we published on the Saturday evening, with cocktails in easy reach.
Since then, we’ve filled our very first week with a whole ton of events, from pie-tasting with Everett & Elaine the very next day, through to Sip + See on Monday (a free drink just for showing us that you’ve downloaded the Neighborhood Goods app — bargain), a floral arrangement class with The Flower Girls on Tuesday evening, and a 0.3k beer walk (literally a walk around the store with a beer in hand) on Wednesday — the perfect way to get of some steps in before Thanksgiving. And then, of course, came the avalanche that was Black Friday, with many of our amazing brands offering up to 30% off.
On Saturday, we had a very special guest joining us in Plano, with our neighbors securing themselves a spot on Santa’s Goods list by bringing their families to meet him in store (and visit our Gift Guide for present ideas galore).
We’ve got some pretty special events lined up between now and the holidays. Details are coming very, very soon.
